Hi & congratulations on building the Fafnir. I have plans for the Swaggie, a little bigger but am interested in hearing about your building & sailing progress especially as their is a Fafnir which is junk-rigged for sale in Australia & I’m interested in looking at it. Can you give me details on how it sails? Thanks in advance. Mark
Hi Mark, thanks! OUr fafnir sails quite well even with polytarp mockup sails. When empty or carrying 1-2 people on deck she sits quite high in the water and is swinging somewhat like a pendulum when moving across deck or tacking. We took up to 5 people on board, then she was very stable and a joy to sail.
