Epoxy projections

Here’s a quick calculation on epoxy amounts.

We need to estimate how much new epoxy we’re going to buy. The plans call for about 25 linear yards of 250 g/m^2 fibreglass, which is very roughly 230 square feet of 8 oz/yd^2 fibreglass (for the Empire!). According to the estimations by West System in http://www.westsystem.com/ss/estimating-epoxy-amounts/, this amounts to roughly 3.3 gallons of the good stuff, which is roughly 12.5 liters. So far we’ve bought twice 25 + 5 kg batches (a monthly wage each!). So, we’d be using roughly half a batch for the external glassing job.
