The hull is now completed. We laid the keel today and fixed the last plate. The keel still needs to be epoxied, but things are looking good. Looking forward to sailing in the summer.

- The dry fitted lead. We leveled some of the casting extrusions with the angle grinder. It was like a machinegun of fine lead pellets. the whole shop was full of little lead shot.
Congratulations to you both, it’s been entertaining as hell watching all this come together. I’m so curious to see how this little boat performs. The videos from Cyprus of the Fafnir there are intriguing. I’m hoping you guys can get some video taken from a powerboat of the Fafnir going flat out under sail in a stiff breeze. Again, congrats. Job well done.

Thank you for the cheers! Some work still lies ahead. We now have experience in building a boat and could carry on doing so, but the new task is different – rigging. We know nothing about that. Exciting times, as always 🙂 Will upload a video soon of our second boat flip.
