It&#8217;s a sandwich with buoyancy foam filling and a glossy glass finish for maximum durability and just long enough to fit a skipper. This took around 15-20h over two weekends. Fiberglassing large surfaces is really almost a meditation exercise. You just keep combing the epoxy and try to fight against the voids.<\/p>\n<p>Next steps are to build the aft shelves in preparation for the lowest plank.
