What kind of wood did you use for the keel,keelson and bottom stringeres.
I am in the initial stages of building a swaggie which is one of Johns Weldford designs.
i am in Malta (very hot and humid right now).

We used oak where the plans called for hardwood. Good luck on the Swaggie – do you have a blog or some pictures?
