Getting bent

Firstly I would like to introduce the main posture you need to learn before starting to build a boat. Pictures say a thousand words – at least. So, here is the “bend to cut” position needed very often in our work:

Alas, sometimes we also need to bend the wood we cut. Today we bent and laminated the arch onto which the mast step will be placed.

The arch support for a bulkhead lies awaiting good'ol epoxy, being bent by clamps. Notice also how Joosep still has a bent neck.
